Category: Loose Leaf Tea

Santa Fe Sage combines Lapsang Souchong black tea, Nilgiri black tea, anise seed, juniper berries, white sage, and cinnamon for an intensely aromatic, slightly smoky tea that embodies the spirit of Santa Fe. Delicious on its own, this tea also goes well with honey and makes an excellent tea latte.

Cups Per Package

This tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 4 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 8 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.

Ingredients

Lapsang Souchong organic black tea, Nilgiri organic black tea, whole anise seed, whole juniper berries, white sage, organic cinnamon.

Tasting Notes

Smooth and slightly smoky, with notes of sage, anise, juniper, and cinnamon.

How To Brew Santa Fe Sage

Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water to boiling. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

We recommend preparing Santa Fe Sage using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods result in a richer, more flavorful cup.

Santa Fe Sage Caffeine Content

Black tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine, less than half as much as coffee per cup.

Santa Fe Sage Benefits

Black tea boosts energy, helps with focus, and is a lower-caffeine alternative to coffee.

Cinnamon supports the immune system and helps with focus.

About Santa Fe Sage

This blend pays homage to ArtfulTea’s hometown: the smell of sage, juniper, and smoke is uniquely Santa Fe. Santa Fe Sage has a base of Lapsang Souchong, a smoked Chinese black tea, and Nilgiri, an Indian black tea.
